Really, Genny, this is one of the best papers I’ve read for any of my upper-division courses! I would definitely encourage you to continue in this line of study if this is what interests you!
Wow. I can’t believe I got this type of feedback on my Western feminist/veiling paper. I guess I’m really proud of myself and I want to cry and uh uh uh, shit. I don’t know. It’s just really nice to hear that especially from this particular professor and on this particular topic which I tried so hard to not cloak in my own Western bias savior privilege bullshit. And not to mention I really haven’t gotten that type of encouragement until recently in my academic pursuits. And I pretty much sent her like a second draft to grade which is really not great but this makes me happy and I’m really self-critical of my work and fuck YEAH I’M EMOTIONAL GO TO HELL NO DON’T DO THAT I REALLY LIKE YOU PROBABLY ACTUALLY LOVE YOU SO PLEASE DON’T GO TO HELL. STAY HERE WITH ME AND WE’LL EAT ICE CREAM AND HUG.
